A Short Note on UPTU 2012 Exam Date

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination with regard to the undergraduate and post graduate level engineering and technical courses has been legally assigned to GautamBuddhTechnicalUniversityin Lucknowby the U.P. government. It’s also known as the UPTU exam and is conducted by GBTU and other State colleges affiliated under it. Let’s look at the UPTU 2012 exam date.

• Undergraduate Courses

The entrance examination to the undergraduate courses has been scheduled on 22nd April, 2012, i.e. 22/ 04/ 2012 which falls on a Sunday. The first half of this UPTU 2012 exam date, i.e. from 7:30-10:30 a.m. has been assigned for Paper Codes 1, 2 and 3. Paper Code1 includes Physics, Chemistry & Maths; Paper Code 2 includes Physics, Chemistry & Biology; Paper Code 3 includes AG I, II & III. Then, there will be Architecture Aptitude Test on the same date (Paper 4) running from 12:00-2:30 p.m. It’s followed by General Awareness (BFAD/ BHMCT) Aptitude Test (Paper 5) that would be from 3:00- 4:30 p.m. Then, from 5: 00-6:30 p.m., there would be the Aptitude Test for Engineering Diploma Holders (Paper 6), Pharmacy Diploma Holders (Paper 7) and B.Sc Graduates (Paper 8).

• Post-Graduate Courses

However, the entrance examination to the post graduate courses would be taking place on different dates. The UPTU 2012 exam date for admission to the post graduate courses of MBA and MCA would be on 21 st of April and 28^th of April, 2012. 21^st April is assigned for the 10^th paper of the MCA Aptitude Test and 9^th paper of the MBA aptitude test. Both the tests have a duration of 2 hours each with the first one starting from 9: 30 to 11: 30 a.m. and the latter starting from 3:30 to 5: 30 p.m. 28 th April has been scheduled with the same examination pattern and the same timing . Both 21^st and 28^th would fall on Saturdays.
